Gap has announced a new collaboration with Madhappy, debuting a 41-piece capsule collection designed for men, women, and children. The partnership, unveiled in a press release on Monday, brings together Gap’s classic essentials with Madhappy’s distinctive style, featuring the brand’s signature MAD logo.

The collection includes reimagined staples such as denim, outerwear, hoodies, and accessories, available in both adult and children’s sizes. Pricing for the collection ranges from $34.95 to $158. The line will be accessible starting August 2 through the e-commerce platforms of both Gap and Madhappy, as well as select retail locations.

Calvin Leung, Head of Creative at Gap, commented on the collaboration, stating, “Madhappy is a brand that extends beyond its products by building a community of optimists. This aligns perfectly with our values of celebrating self-expression and individuality.” He further noted that the collection represents not only a product of pride but also a shared mission to highlight authentic voices that inspire optimism.

The launch is supported by an ad campaign featuring influencers Devon Lee Carlson and musician 070 Shake, alongside models Ottawa Kwami, Reign Judge, Stella Lucia Deopito, and Eera.

Madhappy co-founder Noah Raf expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “Growing up wearing Gap in the ’90s, collaborating with them is an honor. They represent a cornerstone of American heritage.”

In addition to the collection, Gap will contribute to the Madhappy Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing mental health. Since 2022, Madhappy has pledged 1% of its sales to the foundation, supporting various mental health initiatives.

This collaboration continues Gap’s trend of high-profile partnerships. Earlier this year, a shirtdress by Zac Posen, Gap Inc.’s newly appointed creative director, sold out within 24 hours. The company also launched a 51-piece collection with Dôen and a 55-piece capsule with streetwear brand Palace. Gap Inc. reported a 3.4% increase in net sales for Q1, reaching $3.4 billion, though Gap sales remained stable during the period.
