Four-Legged Fashion Models Take the ‘Green Carpet’ in New Rochelle

New Rochelle, NY — The glamour of New York Fashion Week made its way to Westchester this week, but with a twist—this runway show featured canine models more interested in treats than in the spotlight.

Held as part of the “Summer Series at Clinton Park,” sponsored by RXR, this unique fashion event showcased dogs strutting their stuff on a green carpet, trading traditional champagne and canapés for water dishes and Milk Bones. The atmosphere was lively and playful, featuring an enthusiastic crowd and a lot of tail-wagging action.

While the human high-fashion world focuses on couture and couture accessories, the canine counterparts delighted in more practical prizes. Top dog participants received both accolades and treats, with the best-dressed pooches earning bragging rights at the local dog park.

Among the highlights, one model made a memorable impression by charming a celebrity judge from the Gentlemen’s Lab men’s grooming studio. Another, more food-focused contestant, was spotted eyeing the complimentary treats from Casaroma Cafe intended for the audience.

Despite a few playful antics and moments of distraction, the event was free of controversy, with all participants affectionately declared “good boys” in the end.

The dog-friendly fashion show brought joy and excitement to Clinton Park, proving that style and fun can indeed come with four paws and a wagging tail.
