Spanish Fashion Retailer Mango Secures Hong Kong Store at Reduced Rent

Spanish fashion retailer Mango has signed a lease for a 19,000-square-foot retail space in Hong Kong’s prestigious Central district, according to sources familiar with the transaction. The new store, spanning two floors, will be located at Asia Standard Tower on Queen’s Road Central.

The move marks a notable trend of international brands returning to the Hong Kong shopping hub, driven by significantly reduced rental costs. The Asia Standard Tower space has remained largely unoccupied since 2020, following the departure of its previous long-term tenant, British retailer Topshop. The lease agreement for Mango’s new location is valued at $154,000 per month, reflecting a 60% discount on peak rental rates.
