Adeola and Ronke Jane Adelakun recently held a vibrant event celebrating black creatives, showcasing their passion for fashion against a backdrop of African-inspired prints.

The sisters are the founders of Cultureville, a brand they established after encountering challenges in sourcing African print clothing in the UK. During an interview with BBC Radio Manchester, they shared their experiences of navigating obstacles in scaling their business, highlighting a broader issue of limited support and resources for emerging designers.

“I quickly realized that I was not alone; many other creatives were also struggling to monetize their craft,” Ronke Jane stated, emphasizing their commitment to fostering a supportive community for black artists and designers.
