Tra Mongkut, a leading fertilizer brand in Thailand, has unveiled its innovative campaign titled “AFF: All for Farmers,” positioning modern farmers as the nation’s new fashion icons. Collaborating with VML Thailand and upcycling experts Sackitem, the initiative transforms used fertilizer bags into a stylish and functional streetwear collection tailored for the farming community.
This campaign goes beyond fashion, aiming to honor and support the vital role of farmers in Thailand’s economy, as explained by company representative Maekwatana. “Thai farmers are essential to our agricultural sector and the backbone of our country. Tra Mongkut is dedicated to providing creative solutions that uplift and empower these crucial contributors. Our previous initiatives, like the ‘Shelter Signboard’ and ‘Lifecover Loincloth’ campaigns, have garnered international acclaim while significantly benefiting farmers.”
The “AFF: All for Farmers” campaign exemplifies the intersection of creativity and purpose-driven marketing. By repurposing Tra Mongkut’s 18-8-8 fertilizer bags, the collection merges practicality with contemporary design, showcasing that sustainability can indeed be fashionable.
Chatchai Butsabakorn, Executive Creative Director at VML Thailand, emphasized the collaborative effort with Sackitem. “For this initiative, we focused on developing concepts that directly address farmers’ needs. The resulting collection offers essential tools for farming practices, versatile enough for daily activities—from market trips to family outings.”
