Italian footwear brand Scarosso has unveiled its latest collaboration, partnering with Marta Pozzan, the Los Angeles-based Italian actress, model, and influencer, for a glamorous new capsule collection. The range, which drops this Wednesday, features a focused selection of designs created by Pozzan, who rose to prominence through her fashion blog and social media presence, where she shares style tips and lifestyle content.
This is Pozzan’s first full collection as a designer, and she expressed her excitement about the process. “I’m a big shoe lover and very particular about the shoes I wear. Designing something inspired by my own style was a special experience,” she said.
The collection reflects Pozzan’s eclectic fashion sense, combining high-end pieces with more accessible styles. It includes three standout designs, each available in multiple colorways. The signature piece is a wedge knee-high boot, crafted from eco-leather in both ice and black patent versions.
Pozzan shared her love for boots, saying, “I own more boots than shoes—mostly black ones. Initially, I thought the black patent boots would be my favorite, but I’ve become obsessed with the off-white ones as well.” She also added, “I could definitely see Cher wearing my boots!”
The collection also features pumps in white calf leather or black croco-embossed leather, alongside pointy mules in black leather, rose satin, and fire red patent—another of Pozzan’s personal favorites. “There’s something exciting about pairing sexy shoes with unexpected outfits,” she noted. “I love a bold wedge heel—it’s modern and strong. Boldness is what I look for in fashion, for women who are confident and unapologetic.”
Pozzan’s energetic personality was key to sparking the collaboration, according to Scarosso’s brand manager, Gaetano D’Angiulli. He recalled meeting Pozzan a year ago and was immediately impressed by her style and connection to Los Angeles. “We’re always looking for people we can relate to, and Marta is exactly that,” D’Angiulli said.
In celebration of the launch, Scarosso has created a special campaign featuring Pozzan herself. Dramatic images show her wearing the designs in striking settings, including a red gown and vinyl coat. These images will be showcased across Los Angeles, where a private launch event will take place at a villa on Mulholland Drive.
The collection will be available exclusively on Scarosso’s online store, with prices ranging from 410 euros for the satin mules to 625 euros for the boots. The items will come in co-branded packaging, adding an extra touch of luxury.
This launch is part of Scarosso’s broader strategy to expand its presence in the U.S. market, which is now the company’s second-largest, after the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). The brand has set ambitious growth targets, forecasting over 20 million euros in revenue this year and plans to continue this momentum in 2025. “We’re focused on growing in the U.S. and China,” said D’Angiulli, highlighting the importance of collaborations in building these international connections.
Earlier this year, Scarosso also partnered with Linda Rodin and renewed its collaboration with Nick Wooster. The brand has made its mark through a series of collaborations, including a footwear capsule with Brooks Brothers launched at Pitti Uomo in Florence, celebrating classic American and preppy styles.
Despite rising raw material costs, Scarosso remains committed to its core value of offering a contemporary take on classic designs, all produced in Italy. The company has also expanded into children’s footwear, with its “Loafers for Kids” collection drawing inspiration from its adult line.
With collaborations continuing to play a key role in Scarosso’s growth strategy, the brand looks set to further strengthen its position in the global footwear market.
