WME Fashion is shifting its strategy, according to an announcement from President Susan Plagemann. The company, owned by Endeavor, will no longer sponsor Australian Fashion Week. Additionally, WME Fashion is set to “spin off” Focus, the company responsible for many top runway shows at New York Fashion Week. Focus will relaunch as an independent entity under Dominic Kaffka in 2025. This move follows a round of staff layoffs, which included 10 employees, building on previous layoffs earlier in 2024. The restructuring signals a shift in Plagemann’s focus back to WME’s core talent representation, which includes IMG Models, The Wall Group, and Art + Commerce.
