Willow Smith has unveiled a striking new collaboration with Moncler, merging her unique vision with the brand’s iconic designs in a futuristic yet practical collection.

The multi-talented artist debuted her collection at The City of Genius in Shanghai, a fashion-forward event that reflects her distinct style. The range, inspired by Smith’s personal aesthetic, is a fresh take on the future of fashion, combining elements of utility with modern elegance.

The Moncler Genius project, which began in 2018 under CEO Remo Ruffini, has seen collaborations with designers like JW Anderson and Craig Green. The latest collection is a creative powerhouse, showcasing diverse talents such as Edward Enninful, LuLu Li, A$AP Rocky, and now, Willow Smith. Her contribution brings a bold, Gen Z energy to Moncler’s high-end outerwear.

Captured in dynamic black-and-white imagery, the collection explores themes of contrast, balance, and new beginnings. Drawing inspiration from nature, it embodies Smith’s love for the outdoors, offering versatile designs that transition easily from camping trips to evening wear. Smith herself contributed not only her designs but also her modeling, narration, and soundtrack, showcasing her multifaceted approach to creativity.

Smith expressed her excitement about blending contrasting ideas, saying, “Minimalism and utilitarianism. Femininity and masculinity. Black and white. Bringing these opposing concepts together elegantly is something I wanted to explore in this collection.” She added, “I’m passionate about the outdoors and imagined these clothes effortlessly transitioning from nighttime camping to high-fashion eveningwear.”

This collaboration blends Willow Smith’s personal style with Moncler’s timeless appeal, introducing new elements like an inverted “W” intertwined with Moncler’s “M” in the exclusive logo. Silver ring motifs, inspired by Smith’s piercings, adorn everything from hardware to hoodies, while lyrics from her song “Alone” pay tribute to her music and self-expression.

The collection also includes versatile pieces like a down jacket dress with a detachable hem, offering both functionality and style. The minimalist color palette of black and moon-dust white highlights the collection’s theme of duality. Sturdy and soft materials combine to create adaptable pieces suitable for various environments.

One standout item is the Moncler x Willow Smith Salix Leather Boots. Priced at $1,075, the boots feature a sleek upper paired with a bold lug sole, capturing the ’90s aesthetic of the collection. Elastic inserts add utilitarian flair and comfort, while a signature logo patch completes the design.

The Moncler x Willow Smith collaboration will be available starting November 21, both online at moncler.com and in select Moncler stores.
