Australia’s most popular influencer has been named TikTok Creator of the Year once again, but this year’s ceremony had another standout feature – the fashion.
The 2024 TikTok Creator of the Year Awards, held at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion and presented by CeraVe, saw Kat Clark co-hosting the prestigious event alongside Robert Irwin. Clark turned heads in a stunning green, sparkly dress that accentuated her style.
However, the glamour was not without controversy. Fans quickly noticed that former *Love Island* contestant Georgia Murray wore the same green dress, posting a video of her arrival at the event. Social media users wasted no time in pointing out the fashion coincidence. “Isn’t that the same dress as Kat Clark?” one fan asked, with others quickly chiming in: “That’s the same dress as Kat Clark,” and “Did everyone just shop at the same stores?”
Despite the fashion mishap, many fans were unfazed, praising Clark for her bold style. “You totally rocked that look! The confidence and style are on point,” one comment read. Another fan added, “Kat! Green is your colour! You look amazing!!”
Clark, who returned for a second year as host after winning TikTok Creator of the Year in 2022, posed on the red carpet with her family, including husband Jonathan, daughter Latisha, and youngest child, Deja.
Latisha, who wore a strapless dress with a corset bodice covered in jewels, paired it with a velvet skirt. Her long brunette hair was styled in loose waves. Meanwhile, Deja opted for a fun pastel yellow two-piece, complete with a crop top and matching skirt, finished off with fur boots.
While some called the dress overlap “awkward,” it was clear that both Clark and Murray made a fashionable impression on the night.
