Aragon, who hails from the Acoma Pueblo in New Mexico, established Towering Stone as a tribute to the renowned pottery art and culture of the Acoma people. The brand is not just about fashion; it embodies the cultural strength and heritage of the Acoma community.
Before diving into fashion design, Aragon spent over 13 years working as a mechanical engineer. His transition to fashion in 2016 marked a significant shift in his career, but one that has been met with success and recognition. His designs have graced runways across the United States, and in 2018, he earned the prestigious title of Phoenix Fashion Week’s Couture Designer of the Year.
