Ted Baker, a renowned fashion brand with a legacy spanning nearly 40 years, is poised to close all of its remaining stores across the UK, including four locations in Kent—Ashford, Bromley, Canterbury, and Bluewater.
The decision to shutter the 31 remaining Ted Baker stores will result in the loss of over 500 jobs. This move follows the administration of No Ordinary Designer Label Limited (NODL), the company responsible for Ted Baker’s UK retail operations, which occurred in March.
In the weeks following the administration announcement, it was confirmed that 15 Ted Baker stores would be closed, leading to approximately 245 job losses. Staff members at the remaining stores were informed last month that they would be laid off when the closures take effect.
