Wilmslow, UK — Sosandar, an online women’s fashion brand based in Wilmslow, has secured a lease for its third brick-and-mortar location. This expansion marks a significant step in the brand’s transition to a multi-channel retail model.
The new store will be located in the Metrocentre, a major shopping destination near Newcastle, and is slated to open in October, just in time for the crucial Christmas shopping season. This follows Sosandar’s earlier announcement of its first two physical stores set to open in Chelmsford and Marlow in September.
The Metrocentre, situated in Gateshead, is one of the top five super regional malls in the UK, having attracted 14.4 million visitors in 2023. Sosandar’s new outlet will be positioned in the Platinum Mall, an area known for its premium and designer stores, including prestigious brands like Jo Malone, Harrods’ H Beauty, and Hobbs.
