The Wörlitzer Film Festivals are set to offer a captivating experience for history buffs and fashion enthusiasts alike, as they kick off on the isle of Stein. Starting this Saturday, attendees can enjoy a week-long celebration of historical and costume films beneath the stars at the picturesque Wörlitzer Park.
The festivals, which have garnered attention since their inception in 2016, will feature a selection of films showcasing powerful female characters who defied societal norms. Among the highlights are “Dear Chef,” starring Juliette Binoche, and the historical drama “Maria Montessori.” These films exemplify the festival’s commitment to exploring themes of historical significance and sartorial elegance.
Running through August 30, the Wörlitzer Film Festivals will present a diverse array of genres, focusing primarily on historical and costume cinema.
