Copenhagen International Fashion Fair Prioritizes Sustainability and Community

by Tina

Copenhagen, Denmark — The Copenhagen International Fashion Fair, now in its 63rd edition, has further solidified the Danish capital’s position as a global fashion hub while championing sustainability and inclusivity within the industry.

Despite a population of under one million, Copenhagen has emerged as a significant center for arts, design, and fashion over the past two to three decades. Since its launch in 1993, the fair has played a crucial role in this cultural prominence, drawing thousands of buyers, editors, influencers, and industry leaders to the city every six months.

Last month’s fair, held at the Bella Center—Scandinavia’s second-largest exhibition and conference venue—showcased its growing influence with a notable expansion. Spanning 34,000 square meters, a 25 percent increase from previous years, the event featured installations by over 1,200 brands from across the globe, reflecting the vibrant creative spirit of Copenhagen and the broader region.
