PARIS — Hermès designer Nadege Vanhee unveiled her Spring/Summer 2025 women’s ready-to-wear collection on Saturday, showcasing a striking array of tan-hued mesh crop tops and calfskin coats. However, the runway presentation was momentarily disrupted by three animal rights activists.
The show began with a series of light, beige ensembles featuring loose trousers, sheer tops, and a cinched suede coat. As the models graced the catwalk, a protester from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) made a bold entrance, brandishing a sign demanding that Hermès cease its use of exotic skins.
