SHANGHAI – Leading international fashion brands are launching new collections in Shanghai, reflecting a strong vote of confidence in China’s consumer market and underscoring the city’s pivotal role in shaping global fashion trends.
Moncler Genius made its debut outside Europe for the first time, marking a significant commitment to the vast Chinese market. The event was part of the 2025 Spring/Summer Shanghai Fashion Week and occupied approximately 30,000 square meters in downtown Shanghai, featuring ten distinct areas that showcased Moncler’s latest collections alongside creative collaborations with both international and local talent, artists, and designers.
Remo Ruffini, chairman and CEO of Moncler Group, expressed his deep connection to the city, stating, “This city holds a special place in Moncler’s heart – and in mine, personally.” He noted that Moncler opened its first flagship store in mainland China in Shanghai in 2009, and since then, the brand has established a robust, long-term relationship with the city and its people.
Ruffini emphasized China’s significance as a strong market for Moncler, highlighting his admiration for the rapid growth and dynamic evolution within the country.
