Demi Moore has built an impressive career, with a long list of credits to her name. Following a successful year that saw the release of her FX series Feud: Capote vs. The Swans and her new film The Substance, the actress is gearing up for even more.
Reflecting on her career, Moore, who will turn 62 on November 11, spoke about her journey during a September interview on NPR’s Fresh Air. “I wouldn’t want to see it as the culmination, but rather the start of a new chapter,” Moore shared. “It feels like the beginning.”
This new phase isn’t just professional for the Ghost star; it’s also a personal transformation. “I’ve never been in this place before,” Moore explained. “This is all new. I’m more independent now. My children are grown, and I have the most autonomy I’ve ever had. It’s a wonderful time for exploration and discovery. I have no expectations of where it should go. I just want to stay present and be open to whatever comes next.”
Moore, who shares three daughters—Rumer (36), Scout (33), and Tallulah (30)—with her ex-husband Bruce Willis, also embraced the flexibility that comes with her newfound independence.
The actress, known for her bold fashion choices, also finds joy in experimenting with different styles. “I really enjoy fashion. There’s an artistry to it that’s incredible,” Moore said during a 2021 appearance on Naomi Campbell’s YouTube series, No Filter With Naomi. “It feels magical, almost like I’m a little kid again when I’m playing with it.”
