Elie Saab’s highly anticipated runway show, “The 1001 Seasons of Elie Saab,” dazzled audiences in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with a blend of high fashion and star-studded performances. The Lebanese designer unveiled her latest collection at the grand event, which featured a striking performance by Jennifer Lopez, who opened the show in spectacular fashion.
Lopez made a dramatic entrance, appearing atop a floating stage framed by a sparkling white arch adorned with feathers. She wore a glittering silver metallic bodysuit with a plunging neckline, paired with sheer tights and silver heeled boots. The look was completed with a bedazzled cape featuring fringe, reminiscent of 1920s flapper fashion, adding a touch of Hollywood glamour to the performance. Lopez’s signature bombshell waves and diamond jewelry further elevated the striking ensemble.
Mid-performance, Lopez swapped her cape for a voluminous white fur coat, bringing even more drama to the stage.
The performance began with Lopez singing Gloria Gaynor’s classic “I Will Survive,” followed by her own hit “Waiting for Tonight.” As she sang, Lopez made a stunning move, diving from the floating stage into a group of men in tuxedos, who carried her onto the main stage. The singer also performed hits like “On The Floor” and “Let’s Get Loud.”
In addition to Lopez, Celine Dion also graced the stage, and Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry strutted down the runway in an Elie Saab creation, adding further glamour to the unforgettable evening.
