When asked about her favorite TV show, the answer is clear: *Friends*. “I have never seen a series with a cast so real,” she says. “It’s relatable, even in our culture. I especially connect with Rachel, as I know someone in Saudi Arabia who looks and acts just like her.”
On the other hand, when asked about the worst film she’s ever seen, she doesn’t hesitate. “There are many, but *Tusk* stands out. The idea was terrible, and the animation was even worse.”
When it comes to personal style, a standout moment was in 2022 when she was nominated for the Best Content Creator Award in Dubai. She wore a white dress, and it remains one of her favorite fashion moments. “It was simple yet elegant,” she recalls. But her dedication to style doesn’t stop there. “Every year at MDLBeast (Soundstorm) in Saudi Arabia, I go all out with my makeup, hair, and outfits.”
Despite her passion for fashion, she believes she’s never had a “worst” personal style moment. “I create each outfit from scratch, so I’m always happy with what I wear. I only wear things I’m comfortable with.”
In terms of accessories, her go-to choice for a little black dress is gold. “Gold just ties everything together and adds a touch of elegance.” She is, however, less fond of silver, particularly with her skin tone. “I just don’t think it suits me,” she admits.
As for fashion trends in 2024, she’s excited about the return of olive green and denim skirts. “I love seeing forgotten trends come back. It brings me back in time, and I enjoy that feeling.” However, she’s not a fan of the neon trend. “Neon is too loud,” she says. “It takes attention away from your face and hair, and that’s something I can’t stand.”
The best advice she’s ever received came from her grandmother, who always said, “Age is just a number.” “She passed away when she was still young at heart, and everyone saw her as youthful because of her spirit,” she reflects.
On the flip side, she despises the Arabic saying, “Eat what you like and wear what people like.” “You can’t express yourself through other people’s preferences,” she argues. “If you try to please everyone, you’ll never truly succeed. You need to express yourself through what *you* like.”
When it comes to books, her favorite is *The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F****. “It validated everything I’ve always believed but never said out loud. I felt so connected to it.” As for the worst book, she doesn’t believe in them. “Every book has something to teach you.”
In terms of travel, she’s found two destinations that feel like home: Los Angeles and Amsterdam. “Both are easygoing cities, and I feel like I belong there. They’re simple and relaxed.”
However, her experience in Istanbul wasn’t as positive. “I didn’t like the people there. They weren’t friendly, and I had trouble communicating with people who weren’t welcoming or smiled,” she shares.
Her answers offer a glimpse into her personal beliefs, preferences, and the importance of authenticity in both style and life.
