Fashion designer Bryana “Bana” Bongolan has filed a lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, alleging that the music mogul assaulted and molested her. The suit, which seeks $10 million in damages, also details Combs’ alleged abuse of his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. The lawsuit was filed on November 27, 2024, in Los Angeles Superior Court.

Bongolan claims that on September 26, 2016, during an infamous “freak off” party, Combs dangled her over the 17th-floor balcony of Ventura’s apartment. According to the filing, the incident occurred after Combs had been drinking heavily. Bongolan alleges she was not involved in the “freak off” but was later violently confronted by Combs.

In the lawsuit, Bongolan describes how she and her girlfriend were sleeping in a bedroom when Combs, drunk and angry, barged in. Bongolan says she had her girlfriend hide in the bathroom before confronting Combs. She alleges that Combs then grabbed her, groped her, and lifted her onto the balcony, holding her over the edge. The lawsuit claims that only Combs’ grip kept Bongolan from falling to her death.

At this point, Ventura allegedly heard the commotion and emerged from her bedroom, demanding that Combs stop. The suit says that Combs then pulled Bongolan back over the balcony but, in a final act of violence, slammed her onto the balcony furniture.

This alleged incident is also mentioned in Ventura’s own lawsuit from November 2023, in which she described Combs lifting a woman over a balcony “like a child.” Bongolan’s suit contends that the event not only caused her deep emotional trauma but also reinforced her fears of Combs’ violent tendencies.

The lawsuit further details years of alleged threats, intimidation, and abuse that Bongolan claims to have experienced since meeting Combs in 2014. She was friends with Ventura at the time and worked with Combs’ Bad Boy Entertainment, designing jackets and album covers. Bongolan claims that during her time working with Combs, she witnessed abusive behavior, including an instance where she allegedly saw Ventura with bruises and black eyes that she believes were caused by Combs.

In another alarming claim, Bongolan says Combs once threw a large kitchen knife at Ventura, and she retaliated in self-defense. She also claims Combs threatened her during a photoshoot, saying, “I’m the motherf—— devil” and “I could kill you.”

Combs, who is currently in prison on charges of racketeering and sex trafficking, has pleaded not guilty to the allegations and maintains his innocence. A representative from his legal team responded to the lawsuit, denying the claims and stating that Bongolan’s accusations are without merit. The representative emphasized that Combs “remains confident the truth will come to light in court.”

Despite the serious nature of the allegations, Combs continues to deny all charges and maintains that the claims against him are baseless. His trial on the racketeering and sex trafficking charges is scheduled for May 2025.
