Takashi Murakami’s Vibrant LV Trainer Collection Drops in January 2025

The highly anticipated collaboration between artist Takashi Murakami and luxury brand Louis Vuitton is set to make its return in January 2025. Reviving the iconic partnership from the mid-2000s, the new collection will feature a blend of high-end fashion, streetwear, and Murakami’s signature artistic style.

At the heart of this collection is the LV Trainer sneaker, which was first conceptualized by the late Virgil Abloh. Two striking versions of the sneaker will be released: a white version adorned with Murakami’s colorful Damier print, and a black version featuring similar bold, vibrant motifs. Both designs celebrate Murakami’s artistic vision while staying true to Louis Vuitton’s legacy of luxury craftsmanship.

The sneakers are made with premium full-grain calf leather, offering a high-end finish. Subtle gold Louis Vuitton branding, tonal stitching, and side panel accents add to their sophisticated appeal. A special “1854” stamp on the heel marks the founding year of Louis Vuitton, and the playful Damier print reflects Murakami’s creative influence. Custom artist branding is also featured on the insoles.

The Takashi Murakami x Louis Vuitton LV Trainer Pack will be priced at $1,660 and is available in unisex sizing. Pre-orders can be placed through a Louis Vuitton Client Advisor, with the official release scheduled for January 2025.

This collaboration combines the worlds of art and luxury fashion, offering a collection that pays homage to both tradition and innovation. With its vibrant designs and exceptional craftsmanship, the release is expected to appeal to both sneaker enthusiasts and luxury collectors. Don’t miss your chance to own a piece of this iconic collaboration.
