CFDA Announces Finalists for Tiffany & Co. Jewelry Award
The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) has revealed the finalists for the inaugural Tiffany & Co. x CFDA Jewelry Designer Award. After weeks of collaboration with the Tiffany design team, ten finalists will compete for the $50,000 prize and a one-year paid fellowship at Tiffany.
The finalists are Angie Marei, David Perry, Ian Delucca, Jameel Mohammed, Hi Vu, Maggi Simpkins, Malyia McNaughton, Marvin Linares, Pamela Zamore, and Symoné Currie. The winner will be announced in January 2025.
Cartier Brings Trinity 100 Immersive Experience to Miami
Cartier’s global Trinity 100 immersive experience has arrived in Miami to celebrate the 100th anniversary of its Trinity collection. The Miami pop-up, which opened on December 4 and runs until December 8, offers visitors a chance to explore the history of the collection. The event coincides with Art Basel and is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. A launch party on December 3 featured celebrities like Janelle Monaé and Rickey Thompson.

Skims, the shapewear and athleisure brand co-founded by Kim Kardashian, has partnered with North Face for a cozy winter collection. The collaboration introduces an après-ski capsule featuring jackets, pants, and bodysuits, designed for both style and functionality. The Museum at FIT to Host “Cabinet of Curiosities” Exhibition
The Museum at FIT will open its new exhibition, “Fashioning Wonder: A Cabinet of Curiosities,” on February 19, 2025. The exhibit explores the relationship between fashion and the historical “cabinets of curiosities,” early collections that led to the creation of modern museums. Featuring over 200 garments and accessories from brands like Chanel, Schiaparelli, and Vivienne Westwood, the exhibition will showcase many pieces for the first time. It will run until April 20, 2025.
Marina Abramović Explores Nomadic Art in New Exhibit
During Miami Art Basel 2024, conceptual artist Marina Abramović is presenting “Nomadic Journey and Spirit of Place,” an exhibit in collaboration with Massimo Dutti. The exhibition, showcasing over four decades of Abramović’s drawings, poetry, and photographs, reflects her nomadic lifestyle and artistic evolution. Visitors can view the exhibit at the Faena Art Project Room until December 8, with hours from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
