The renovation and expansion of Zara, which closed its store in the Miramar shopping center in Fuengirola in January this year, is now in the final stages, with the store expected to reopen in May. The new design and spatial reorganization are expected to “provide a more fluid and modern shopping experience”, so expectations are high for this reopening.
This will be one of the most watched changes in the first half of the year, but more businesses have chosen to update and improve their image in shopping centers.
One of these is Tiger, which reopened its new store in mid-March. Although the store area and activities have not changed, the design has been redesigned to make it more dynamic.
Rituals has also joined the trend, reopening its store in February last year with an area almost doubled. The goal was to optimize its beauty and health product range, while being able to offer a range of home goods and clothing, such as bathrobes and towels.
Tezenis and Intimissimi have already modernized their image, as has Belros, while a new hair and styling salon, ExtensionManía, has opened in Miramar’s new service area, La Plaza. By the end of the year, health and wellness store Holland & Barrett is also planning a major overhaul of its business.
