Louis Vuitton’s New Home Collection Is A Minimalist’s Dream

If you’re a fashion lover, you’ll know that Milan Fashion Week sees new releases from Italian brands like Gucci, Valentino, Prada and Fendi. But are you familiar with Milan Design Week? You should be, because it’s pretty much the “Milan Design Week” (MFW) for interior design enthusiasts.

The five-day extravaganza is every bit as much about fashion month as it is about designer collections—even French ateliers are getting in on the fun. On April 7, the first day of Milan Design Week, Louis Vuitton took center stage with the launch of its new Home Collection, marking the atelier’s latest foray into decor.

Less than a month after Louis Vuitton presented its Fall/Winter 2025 collection at Paris Fashion Week, the brand has unveiled its latest offering: home decor. “Celebrating comfort and pleasure, Louis Vuitton unveils the Signature Collection, a new line of furniture and lighting that showcases its refined sense of design and creativity,” the company wrote in a press release.

“Each piece reinvents the house’s identity in its own way, showcasing iconic materials such as leather and wood, and introducing custom options from luxurious fabrics to precious woods to onyx and marquetry.” The launch is divided into five product categories: Objets Nomades, the new Signature Collection (furniture and lighting), Decoration (objects and textiles), Tableware and Special Games, each retaining LV’s signature vibe.

French designer Patrick Jouin, Argentinian artist Cristián Mohaded, Italian designer Patricia Urquiola and Atelier Biagetti have collaborated to combine “a radically contemporary aesthetic with the iconic shapes and craftsmanship that are unique to Louis Vuitton.”

Jouin referenced the brand’s golden padlocks in its armchair design; Mohaded referenced luggage craftsmanship with bold stitching on chic cushions; Urquiola designed a curvaceous armchair; and Atelier Biagetti’s design team, Alberto Biagetti and Laura Baldassari, celebrated Louis Vuitton’s leather expertise with a unique lamp.

Among Louis Vuitton’s “divine” collections, the Table Art collection is particularly eye-catching, complementing Louis Vuitton’s love of abstract shapes and colors. “The deep black of the winding collection by Japanese designer Nendo complements the Limoges porcelain embellished with various monogram, floral and diamond patterns,” said Louis Vuitton in an official statement.

Creamy yellow tableware, including plates, cups, jugs and napkin rings, adds a pop of color to the entire collection. The colorful tableware complements other kitchen staples – like the bold blue vase, utility tray and metal candlesticks.

The entire collection, especially the timeless tableware, pays homage to Fortunato Depero, who was “a master of the dazzling Futurist movement and a graphic design genius who emerged in early 20th-century Italy,” the brand confirms. “His work is represented through a series of colorful tableware and home textiles that symbolize his avant-garde graphic style and fantastical bestiary.” In the living room, French architect Charlotte Perriand’s “unprecedented yet timeless designs” inspired new wool and cashmere throws, as well as polished pillows.

Surprisingly, the home collections are currently on display at Milan’s neoclassical Palazzo Serbelloni and are open to the public during design week, which runs from April 6 to 13. So if you happen to be in Italy, you have a week to see the selection. You’ll be able to purchase these pieces in person at Louis Vuitton stores once Milan Design Week is over.
