Hailey Bieber proved she remains one of Anthony Vaccarello’s biggest fans last night when she showed off one of his Saint Laurent creations at the 2025 American Fashion Trust Awards.
It was a fitting choice, as Bieber was there to present the designer with an honorary award, which recognizes his work at the French fashion house and his impact on the industry as a whole.
The Rhode founder took to the stage in a backless Merlot-hued dress that featured a bodice made up of crisscrossed panels of pleated fabric. The stretched pieces clung to Bieber’s body like tulle, creating a beachy (or rather, mummy-like) effect. At the same time, the pieces had small diamond-shaped cutouts on the sides and extended all the way to Bieber’s hips, creating a dropped waist.
The draped fabric became a sleek circle skirt that trailed behind Bieber. To match the gown, the model also wore a pair of purple nail polish. Instead of a flashy necklace, she chose to let the dress shine on its own.
Over the years, Bieber has proven herself to be a Saint Laurent fan. She wore a Saint Laurent lace wedding gown when she renewed her vows with husband Justin Bieber last May and announced she was pregnant with son Jack Blues Bieber. Meanwhile, her street style is often enhanced by Saint Laurent’s iconic pieces, whether it’s a leopard-print bag or a leather trench coat.
“Anthony Vaccarello, your journey is a testament to the transformative power of fashion, and we are so honored to celebrate you tonight,” Bieber said in his speech, and it was clear that she meant it.
